Pollard and Irene Harris Pollard; daughter Jessie Marie Williams; son Charles “Chuck” Dent; brothers Robert Pollard, David Pollard, and Ira Pollard. Bob retired from GMAC after 28 years of service and spent his time wood-working, playing golf, and traveling with Mavis. In early 1961, Bob met the love of his life, Mavis Waddell, who was teaching in Greenville.

Charles L. Collins, 72, of Chester passed away Tuesday in Hospice and Community Care in Rock Hill. He was the son of the late Samuel Neely Collins and Helen Broome Collins. He was the husband of Sandra Robinson Collins of the home. Alma Mobley Roof, 80, recent widow of Franklin Roof, passed away Thursday.
